Last week, Verlab Institute teams actively participated in two significant international events in Germany, contributing to the fields of innovation and digital transformation. These events fostered knowledge exchange and collaboration with leading European experts, further solidifying Verlab Institute's position in innovative technology development.
Erlangen: EIT Health DRIVE program
Our colleagues, Lejla Gurbeta Pokvić, Adna Ašić, and Adna Softić, participated in the second phase of the EIT Health DRIVE Program in Erlangen. Throughout the training, they exchanged insights about innovative ecosystems from the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Germany, working alongside other European teams to define program goals and development directions. This event was pivotal for the upcoming activities scheduled for the program’s final phase in Budapest next month. A special thank you to our hosts, Ákos Wetters, Victor Scholtne, and Sarolta Szőke, for the excellent organization and invaluable guidance!
Berlin: Ecosystem Connectors project
In Berlin, our colleague Madžida Hundur attended a study visit focused on enhancing the capacities of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the exchange of knowledge on digital transformation and innovation. This visit was part of the Ecosystem Connectors | Berlin-Sarajevo-Tirana Project, where Mažida visited the Adlershof Technology Park, participated in meetings with the Berlin Senate and Berlin Partner, and discussed opportunities for supporting digital initiatives and startups. A special thanks goes to Elvir Bećirović, Slaviša Jovanović, Krunoslav Rašić, and our partners from GIZ Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro for their support and collaboration!
Inspiration for future projects
Participation in these events was exceptionally inspiring, enabling the Verlab Institute team to adopt new approaches and ideas for future projects in the areas of innovation, digital transformation, and SME support. Through these activities, Verlab Institute continues to strengthen its role as a leader in technological innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
