Research groups and consultant teams
We are built around our core themes of research & innovation, support & coordination and digital transformation consulting. Representing the three research fields, our Institute host research groups and consultant teams. They are at the heart of our activities and our most valuable asset!
Verlab Research Institute for biomedical engineering, medical devices and artificial intelligence has wide international network of External Associates that are experts in their respective domain. They complement the Institute’s experts with their domain expertise.
It is known that NGOs (non-governmental organisations) are contributing at all stages of the research cycle, fostering the relevance and effectiveness of the research, priority setting, and knowledge translation to action. They have a key role in stewardship (promoting and advocating for relevant research), resource mobilization for research, the generation, utilization and management of knowledge, and capacity development. Therefore, the Institute closely collaborate with the Bosnia and Herzegovina Medical and Biological Engineering Society (DMBIUBIH) to enable wider usage of science and findings of research and evaluations by stakeholders, regardless of who they are. The research implementation and digital transformation consulting is enabled through the Digital Innovation Hub (DIH). LabHub serves as one-stop shop for digitalisation of SME’s in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
