Bachelor’s or master’s degree students who would like to gain more research experience are invited to apply for internships at Verlab Research Institute for Biomedical Engineering, Medical Devices and Artificial Intelligence (Verlab Institute).
Doing internships during your bachelor’s and/or master’s studies is a great way to gain more research experience. Prospective employers, whether in academia, industry or other sectors, highly value internship experience as it shows initiative and wider exposure to different work environments, technical know-how and research culture.

WHAT DOES AN INTERNSHIP AT ISTA HAVE TO OFFER?
As an intern at Verlab Institute, you will be guided by your mentor as you work on your internship project(s). Depending on your background and research interests, as well as the research focus of the group you join, there is a wide scope for differences in the types of projects you can work on.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM VS YEAR-ROUND SCIENTIFIC INTERNSHIPS
The summer internship program is an internship program with a centralized application and admissions process. In this program you get opportunity to join our team for three months and be part of multidisciplinary group of interns.
Year-round scientific internship program i san internship program where you specifically work with mentor in the area of your intrest and agree with your mentor and research group when the internship start and end dates will be. The duration of these internships can be up to one year.
