The consortium consisting of the Olympic Committees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, and Slovenia, as well as the Verlab Institute and the BRAVO Association from Bosnia and Herzegovina, will work over the next two years on activities aimed at identifying challenges and barriers hindering progress towards gender equality. Additionally, the project seeks to strengthen the capacity of women in NOCs, aligning with EU regulations and best practices. Through the promotion of education, training, and skills development, the Women4Sport project aims to create a conducive environment for the advancement of women in sports governance.
Project partners presented their work packages and agreed on the next steps in project implementation. Building on developed methodologies for digital transformation and previous experience, through the implementation of this project, the Verlab Institute, as a technical partner of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will lead the development of the NOCWB network and e-platform.
With this initiative, the journey towards changes that are important and a priority for the European Union has officially begun, as well as for the promotion of women's rights in sports.
