EIT Health Morning Health Talks (MHT)

Project name:

EIT Health Morning Health Talks (MHT)

Project description:

The EIT Health Morning Health Talks (MHT) is a series of events designed to stimulate thought-provoking discussions on pressing healthcare innovation topics and foster networking among healthcare professionals across Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe. Launched in 2020 under the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS), MHT aims to inspire local healthcare innovation ecosystems by sharing valuable information about health innovation trends and strengthening communication among key stakeholders. Over the past three years, these talks have addressed various subjects, including healthcare system transformation, artificial intelligence in healthcare, value-based healthcare, data donation, cybersecurity, and hospital engagement. By convening regional leaders and experts, MHT seeks to map best practices and common challenges in digital health solutions, thereby promoting the development of digital health ecosystems in regions considered moderate and modest innovators in Europe.

The inaugural EIT Health Morning Health Talks in Bosnia and Herzegovina took place on 21st November 2024, at the ASA Institute in Sarajevo, co-organized by the ASA Institute and the Verlab Institute, with support from EIT Health. The event convened healthcare, technology, and innovation experts to discuss the future of digital transformation in the country’s healthcare sector, emphasizing the pivotal role of data in enhancing healthcare services.

The second event is currently being prepared in collaboration between Verlab Institute and the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, with support from EIT Health, to be held on the topic “Personalized Medicine in Oncology and Patient Care” in May 2025.
