A science-based analysis of biological predispositions relevant to athletic performance, training optimisation, and injury prevention.
What is AthletICODE?
The science behind
your performance
AthletICODE is an interdisciplinary platform developed by Verlab Institute with the goal of better understanding individual biological predispositions relevant to athletic performance, training optimisation, and injury prevention.
The platform integrates current knowledge from sports genetics, sports medicine, and sports science — enabling a truly individualised approach to athletic development.

What the analysis
reveals
AthletICODE covers six interconnected biological dimensions of athletic performance.
Science-based approach
Modern science
in service of sport
Contemporary sport increasingly integrates science, data analytics, and biomedical research into athletic development. AthletICODE has been developed in accordance with modern principles of sports science, with a focus on objective analysis and an individualised approach to each athlete.
Results are interpreted through an expert report that provides insight into biological predispositions — not a diagnosis, but a map of possibilities.
Ethical standards
Confidentiality
and scientific
integrity
All activities are conducted with the informed consent of participants and in accordance with the ethical standards of scientific research. Data and samples are processed confidentially, with full anonymisation and identity protection, in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and approvals from the Verlab Institute Ethics Committee.
genetic potential
Activities are conducted within the framework of the Verlab Institute research project focused on the analysis of biological and physiological predispositions of athletes. The research is carried out on the basis of approval from the Verlab Institute Ethics Committee, numbers 23/24 and 107-5/24. Sampling and laboratory processing are conducted according to standard operating procedures and internally validated research protocols. Results represent research data and do not constitute a medical finding, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. Results are used exclusively for research and development purposes. The research activity is open for the selection of new participants in accordance with the project criteria and informed consent rules. Participation costs in the research serve exclusively to cover the costs of sampling, laboratory processing, consumables, and other research resources used during the implementation of the project.
