The ENKORE project focuses on developing sustainable and circular solutions for single-use medical devices and packaging by introducing an ecoDesign framework that considers the entire product life cycle. The project brings together more than 50 European partners and validates solutions through five industry-led use cases involving major healthcare companies such as Novo Nordisk, Baxter, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and others. ENKORE contributes to reducing environmental impact and carbon emissions in healthcare systems. The project is funded by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) Joint Undertaking under Horizon Europe.
