Recently, the Verlab Institute hosted Dr. Yiota Foka from CERN. During her visit, we had the opportunity to discuss important activities related to the South East European International Institute for Sustainable Technologies (SEEIIST) project.
The SEEIIST project, which was presented at the recent international MEDICON&CMBBIH conference, was conceived in 2016 and is a regional project involving the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Bulgaria, Kosovo, the Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia, and the Republic of Slovenia.
The main missions of the SEEIIST project include: science for peace, scientific excellence, international collaboration, sustainable societal development, education, technology transfer, the development of a powerful digital network, high-performance computing, and handling big data.
The implementation of SEEIIST project activities, as well as further collaboration with CERN, open up numerous opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences between experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.
