First days of diaspora in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Panel discussion “Festival of knowledge and success”

“The first days of the diaspora of Bosnia and Herzegovina” is the name of the manifestation that is held from 20th to 29th of August this year in Sarajevo, organized by Bosnia International Forum.

As part of this manifestation, a panel discussion “Festival of Knowledge and Success” was held on Monday, where successful stories and results of experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina around the world were presented, and further diaspora investments in our country were discussed.

Success stories were presented by participants from the BiH diaspora who achieved enviable results in the world or returned to their homeland and achieved certain results.

The panel discussed a lot about diaspora investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the services that need to be developed in order for these investments to realize their full potential. One of the conclusions of the panelists is that for such a thing it is necessary to build frameworks in Bosnia and Herzegovina that will enable young people to stay and develop human resources that will be the strength that will carry these investments.

“Verlab Institute invests all its capacities in strengthening human resources, and this is a bright example that we want to present to the diaspora, to turn the problem of brain drain in our favor, to use all the personnel that has left BiH, to bring innovative ideas and solutions back to BiH.” – said the director of the Verlab Institute.
