Senior research associate Prof. Dr. Almir Badnjević attended IUPESM World Congress on medical physics and biomedical engineering in Singapore from 12th to 17th of June. This is one of the greatest events in the field of biomedical engineering and Prof. Dr. Badnjević was the sole participant from Bosni and Herzegovina. He has presented the contributions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the global community of clinical engineers at the time of COVID-19 pandemic. Even though Bosnia and Herzegovina is a small country, our team has significantly contributed to the world of clinical engineering, especially in the field of artificial intelligence in healthcare and medical device management. Durring the 6 days of congress, Prof. Dr. Badnjević has given a number of lectures, moderated sessions and attended several meetings and assemblies of international organizations of biomedical and clinical engineering. Once again, Verlab Institute was presented in the best possible light and effectively stated its mission to #lead positive changes and #inspire others to #deliver extraordinary results.
