Project description:
The project aimed to improve the management strategy of the Miljacka River in alignment with the Sarajevo Canton Development Strategy for the period 2021-2027 by applying innovative digital solutions. Through the project, multi-parameter data collection and imaging were conducted, enabling the creation of a detailed 3D model of the Miljacka River in Sarajevo. This model was used to simulate watercourse pollution, allowing for predictive analysis of the impact of various factors on the aquatic environment. These insights are crucial for protecting public health, as they support the development of effective measures to ensure clean and safe water for the local population.
The project was implemented in 2023 by the support of the Ministry of science, higher education and youth of the Canton of Sarajevo.
