Project description:
The ParaSwInclusion, starting in April 2025, aims to promote social inclusion and integration of individuals with disabilities through para swimming activities and events, culminating in the Sarajevo Open regional contest. The project seeks to break down social barriers and prejudices towards disability by showcasing the achievements of para swimmers and fostering collaboration between individuals with and without disabilities. Targeting individuals with disabilities, educators, coaches, and other stakeholders in the Western Balkans, it aims to improve participation, education, training programs, and social awareness regarding para swimming. The project will also create a registry for para swimming in Croatia and Serbia and an e-platform for better data access, alongside training for coaches, referees, and educators in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
