Project name:
Elevating Vocational Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro through Collaborative Enhancement of VET Teachers – VETechConn
Project description:
The VETechConn project enables vocational education and training (VET) teachers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo, Vogošća, Zenica, Goražde, Široki Brijeg) and Montenegro (Nikšić, Podgorica) to enhance their digital competencies. Through the project, teachers gain access to a digital platform with educational resources and training programs tailored to their needs, supported by partners from the Western Balkans and the EU (Croatia, Slovenia). This initiative helps teachers adapt to digital challenges, improve their teaching methods, and integrate modern technologies into their classrooms, ultimately benefiting students’ employability.
The project supports teachers through:
- Establishing a network for exchanging best practices among vocational educators in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and EU partners from Croatia and Slovenia, while fostering intercultural cooperation.
- Developing and implementing innovative training programs that equip teachers with modern digital skills and optimize their teaching potential.
- Enhancing instructional methods by designing programs aligned with the specific needs of the labor market.
