Verlab Institute was proud to participate in ONEX Connect 2025, held in Banja Luka, an event that brought together key stakeholders from innovation, digital transformation, and international cooperation.
As part of the conference programme, our Senior Expert Associate Dr. Lemana Spahić discussed the potential of advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing (HPC) in driving modern business transformation and data-driven decision-making. Particular emphasis was placed on the activities, services, and concrete success stories of Verlab Institute and the National Competence Center for High Performance Computing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, implemented through the European initiatives EuroCC 2 and EuroCC4SEE.
The discussions highlighted the importance of making HPC and AI technologies accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises, research organizations, and public institutions, and their role in strengthening competitiveness, innovation capacity, and economic resilience. Special attention was given to opportunities for accessing European supercomputing resources and to fostering closer links between research and industry.
Beyond the formal presentations, ONEX Connect 2025 offered an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and the initiation of new collaborations with representatives from industry, academia, innovation hubs, and international organizations. The conversations focused on translating digital technologies into sustainable, measurable solutions with real-world impact.
The conference once again confirmed that strong partnerships, regional cooperation, and open dialogue are essential enablers of accelerated innovation and long-term sustainable growth.
