FundingBox met with the emerging Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) its4Health in Sarajevo. Held at the University Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, this session buzzed with discussions about the future of digital innovation and its impact on local businesses. The Verlab Institute also participated in this event. We discussed the future of digital innovation and its impact on local businesses in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Maria Roca Puigserver (Senior Project Manager), Brais Fernández (EU Projects Consultant at Econet), and Ciprian F. (Senior Marketing Account Manager).
Maria Roca, expert guide from Funding box, led the way. She unpacked the journey of DIHs, particularly their evolution into European DIHs. She emphasized how “Test Before Invest” services can empower SMEs to explore new technologies risk-free. Maria also championed building sustainable ecosystems and strong governance, while exploring exciting opportunities for international collaboration.
We are passionate about supporting widening economies and are always looking for new opportunities for collaboration. This visit was another opportunity to strengthen ties with local DIHs and explore new ways to support innovation in the region.
