On October 12, 2023, in the SSST premises, the promotion of its4Health, the Digital Innovation Hub, highlighted its commitment to advancing the digital transformation of healthcare in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The primary goal of this hub is to promote a healthcare system characterized by transparency, security, and efficiency.
During the launch event, which was attended by more than 30 representatives from private healthcare institutions throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, successful regional practices in the digitalization of healthcare were showcased. Furthermore, its4Health has emphasized the core services that will be prioritized for development through collaboration with partners from the private and public sectors.
Representatives from Zagreb’s Magdalena Polyclinic, acting on behalf of the Croatian EDIH AI4Health.Cro, explored the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical workflows. They discussed emerging tools and solutions aimed at improving communication and enhancing data collection.
The inception of DIH its4Health is part of the broader EU4DigitalSME initiative. This project, jointly funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
DIH its4Health embodies the core objective of the EU4DigitalSME project: cultivating a dynamic ecosystem that promotes digitization, automation, and innovation, with a particular focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
