Call for expression of interest in development of IEEE standards for conformity assesment of medical devices.
The Working group within the IEEE Standards Association led by dr. Zijad Džemić and Dr. Lejla Gurbeta Pokvić are kindly inviting professionals to express interest for participation in the work of two working groups within the IEEE Standard Association:
• EMB/Stds Com/MDMF-2727.1 WG/2727 MEDICAL DEVICES WITH MEASURING FUNCTIONS WORKING GROUP https://sagroups.ieee.org/2727/
• EMB/Stds Com/MDMF-2727.1 WG/2727.1 Standard for Conformity Assessment Testing of Cardiac Defibrillators for Legal Metrology Purposes https://standards.ieee.org/ieee/2727.1/7253/
The two working groups aim to produce the standard which is necessary in the field of clinical engineerin, for evidence – based performance inspection of medical devices.
