Erasmus+ Women4Sport Project: Key Findings on Women in Top Management Positions

As part of the Erasmus+ Women4Sport project, on a meeting held on 13th of June results of the register on the number of women in key positions in the top management of National Olympic Committees in Western Balkan countries were presented. This activity is led by our Institute from Sarajevo.

The hybrid meeting was attended by 50 representatives from Olympic committees and sports organizations that play a key role in shaping sports culture and promoting equality in sports. Participants included the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, the Slovenia Olympic Team, the Croatian Olympic Committee, the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), and BRAVO – Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities.

This register not only provides a realistic picture of the number of women in key positions in sports organizations but also enables tracking progress in the future. It encourages Olympic committees to work with their federations to empower women in these positions.
