The Verlab Institute, representing the DIH “its4Health,” participated in a study visit from May 15th to 17th, 2023, as part of the EU project “EU4DIGITALSME” implemented by GIZ and the EU in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This study visit provided us with a valuable opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders in the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystems in Zagreb and Čakovec.
In Zagreb, we had the opportunity to visit prominent organizations such as BIOCentar – Biotechnology, ZICER – Zagreb Innovation Center, and Plavi Ured, which focuses on education. These visits allowed us to gain insights into Zagreb’s successful entrepreneurial and innovative potential. In Čakovec, we had the honor of visiting TICM – Technological-Innovation Center Međimurje, Metal Core, and the esteemed company Sobočan. These visits provided us with a deeper understanding of technological advancements and innovation-driven initiatives in Čakovec.
As the Verlab Institute and DIH “its4Health,” we are committed to actively promoting and nurturing international partnerships to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our participation in the study visit further reinforces our dedication to contribute to the improvement of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer in the region. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with key representatives and organizations during this study visit, and we look forward to utilizing the knowledge and experiences gained in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
