Agenda 2030 implies a huge transformative process towards a sustainable world, and this can only be achieved through an integrated approach and the joint responsibility of all actors of business and civil society. Deciding for the integration of sustainable development goals into the operations of the organization, it is necessary to continuously strengthen the knowledge and skills of all actors of business and civil society in order to build a sustainable community.
Verlab Research Institute for biomedical engineering, medical devices and artificial intelligence (Verlab Institute) aims to contribute to increasing the competitiveness and excellence of companies, organizations, researchers and experts in Bosnia and Herzegovina through its activities, and as such recognizes and promotes science, research and practice, opening the way for the necessary transition to a knowledge-based economy.
Accordingly, the Verlab Academy was launched within the Verlab Institute, which was developed to support the economic, academic, non-governmental and governmental sectors with the aim of understanding the requirements imposed by the digital and green transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Recognizing the importance of digital and green transformation, Verlab Academy has four education programs in the areas of:
- quality management systems
- medical technology management
- implementation of digital transformation for organizations
- planning/making project proposals for domestic and international funds (Horizon Europe, Eureka, Erasmus, Creative Europe, COST)
The work is organized in small groups, which enables the active involvement of all participants. In the implementation, modern methods of working, discussions, exercises, group work are used, with the use of the latest teaching technologies.
The programs can be conducted according to the topics provided for in individual seminars, or the content and method of processing can be adapted to the specific needs and situations of users.
